Zapata Exploration Ltd. is an exploration company focused on discovery, acquisition, and development of district scale mineral deposits in Mexico. Our company has a portfolio of 11 projects:

Las Margaritas (Au)

Durango, MX

• 100% owned 500-hectare property in the state of Durango within the gold-silver belt of the Sierra Madre Occidental

• The property covers an epithermal vein with visible gold hosted in rhyolites of the Upper Volcanic sequence

• The property is currently optioned to Gainey Capital

El Roble (Au)

Oaxaca, MX

• El Roble covers the northern extension of the Natividad veins and other historic bonanza producers such as El Banco mine

• 4,374 Hectares (43 sq. km) acquired by staking, 100% owned

• 15 km strike length of a large magnetic high representing an intrusive body at depth believed to be associated with high-grade gold mineralization in veins

Lachatao (Au)

Oaxaca, MX

• The project covers 5,126 hectares (51.2 sq. km), 100% owned, staked around the Lachatao deposits

• Located in the north-central portion of the state of Oaxaca, in the vicinity of the town of Lachatao, 45 km north-east from the city of Oaxaca

• Lachatao is an epithermal gold & silver target in Tertiary volcanic rocks underlain by the black shales which host the nearby Natividad gold-silver mine

Geranio (Au)

Oaxaca, MX

 The property consists of six claims known as La Ramita, Geranio, Violeta, Azucena, El Jilguero and La Orquidea, covering 540 hectares 100% owned

• The Geranio project lies adjacent and directly north of the historic Natividad Mining District, 48 km north of the city of Oaxaca. The Natividad mine consists of a series of at least five bonanza-grade gold and silver veins in a black shale host rock

Socorro (Au)

• The property consists of three claims known as El Socorro Frac. 1, El Socorro Frac. 2, and Tizoc R1 covering 35,654 hectares (308.45 sq. km) staked in 2011, 100% owned

• The southern part of the concession covers the northern extension of Alamo's El Chanate mine

• 3,600 hectares (36 sq. km)  staked by the Company in 2011, 100% owned

• Porphyry Copper – Moly system (4.0 x 1.0 km) in quartz monzonite porphyry

• Located in North Central Sonora (2 hr south of the US border) the property consists of six claims covering 3,138 hectares (31.38 sq. km), 100% owned by the Company.

• Los Tamales is a porphyry copper-moly system 125 km southwest of Tucson, Arizona and 28 km south of the US-Mexican border

• 3,850 Hectares (38 sq. km) 100% owned

Puertecitos (Au)

• The Puertecitos property consists of two claims: Puertecitos, and Puertecitos 2 covering 9,060 hectares (90.6 sq. km) 100% owned

• It is located 32 km southwest of the Sasabe border crossing between the US and Mexico, 40 km west of Zapata Exploration's Tamales property and 32 km northeast of Peñoles’ Los Humos deposit, a 625 Mt porphyry copper system grading 0.32% Cu

Miranda (Au, Ag)

• 6,897 Hectares (68.97 sq.km) 100% owned in the Sonoran desert within a structural corridor of the Sonora-Mojave megashear ("SMM trend")

•Favorable geophysical, geochemical, geological, alteration and mineralization features coincide in two target areas of considerable dimensions which make very compelling drilling targets

Apache (Au)

Sonora, MX

• Located in NW Sonora, 10km east of Mexico's largest gold mine, La Herradura complex

• 6,538 hectares (65 sq. km) 100% owned

• El Apache is largely covered by sand and gravel in the Sonoran Desert and sits in the center of a highly prospective area within the prolific Sonora-Mojave megashear gold belt
